This is a scene I found while wandering the hills near Apache Lake, above the Superstitions,  and east of Phoenix.      The countryside was truly beautiful in a rough and rugged way.   I spent a week in the desert, and came home with many slides for future works.   I enjoyed working on these paintings very much... most of these Arizona scenes are being marketed through Sanders Galleries on N.
