THE  YELLOW  DOOR, Santa Fe

I find a lot of inspiration for paintings in northern New Mexico, espcially around Taos and Santa Fe.... this scene is from one of my trips to Santa Fe.  A number of really unique doorways and buildings can be found on the hills above Canyon Road... this is one such doorway!   Many of the roads in this area are still dirt, which adds to the attractiveness, to the painter's eye, of the area. 

This particular painting is currently in my home, while I finish out several NM scenes to take with me when I next venture out West on gallery searches.   I expect to be out there again soon, during Feb.-March 08... until this painting finds a NM home-gallery, please contact me at home for information on purchasing this piece!
