SIPAPU  AUTUMN

I did this small plein aire study several years ago while roaming the hills above Taos, NM, near the Sipapu Ski Resort.   A little stream meanders across this area and has been the subject of many of my paintings through the years.   One reason artists flock to the area is the ability to paint one day in the mountains, the next day down in the desert, another day over in Red River, etc.!!  Add to that the incredible light and you have an artists' haven!  We all love it!
