THE PATH LESS TRAVELED

During my week-long painting trip to Arizona a few years ago, I found Ajo Way, west of Tucson.... I spent most of that day doing some plein aire work and taking photos for future paintings... this is one of those scenes that came to life in my Studio.    Art lovers in the area love the golden poppies about as much as Texans love their bluebonnets... all with good reason.  Seeing the desert in its full finery takes your breath away.... Van Gogh would have loved the area as well!
